Two more states have joined the National Electronic Security Alliance (NESA) effective January 1, 2020.
NESA is please to welcome the Louisiana Life Safety & Security Association (LLSSA) and the Mississippi Security Association (MSA). These two strong associations add to the foundation built by the founding members.
Louisiana Life Safety & Security Association
In 1990 the Louisiana Burglar & Fire Alarm Association was formed after the industry was caught of guard by a state fire alarm law. At first meetings were only in New Orleans but were quickly expanded to throughout the state. They have actively influenced legislation ever since. The name was changed to the Louisiana Life Safety & Security Association in 2007. LLSSA holds an annual trade show that has grown to the largest state show in the country. LLSAA offers certification and CEU training on regular basis. For More Information visit https://llssa.org/
Mississippi Security Association
In Mississippi Alarm Association began in 1982 with a few alarm dealers gathering with the goal of better regulating the industry, setting ethical and professional standards, and acquiring proper training. MSA became the Mississippi Security Association MSA in 2019. MSA has frequent meetings and a statewide convention with vendors you wouldn’t meet otherwise. They have a full time executive director and lobbyist. Meetings are conducted regularly throughout the state and CEU and certification training are offered as well.
