Mother Nature helped Lincoln Police arrest three juveniles following an an attempted burglary at Exotic CBD near 27th and Superior around 2:30 Friday morning.
Sergeant Chris Vollmer says the store owner got an alarm notification and arrived to find a van leaving the lot. He relayed that information to police dispatchers.
“The van was later observed in the residential area between Alvo Rd and Fletcher Ave, west of N 14th. The van attempted to flee from police but became stuck in the mud after turning down a construction access road.”
The van was later determined to have been stolen from the area of 52nd and Orchard. The three juvenile males were taken into custody. There was no damage to the store and LPD says it appears no entry was made.
