4.23.21 – The Texas Department of Insurance adopted a rule that:
- Clarifies that the fire protection licensee responsible for planning the fire protection system can be different from the licensee installing the system if all related tasks are done by licensed parties.
- Allows local governments more flexibility in determining the standard required for planning, installing, and servicing fire protection services.
