The Louisiana Life Safety & Security Association (LLSSA) is proud to announce the successful completion of a week-long series of regional meetings held across Louisiana. The events brought together industry leaders, law enforcement officials, and dedicated members for dynamic sessions focused on training, professional development, and community engagement in the security and safety sectors.

Kicking off the week on Monday, February 17, 2025, attendees gathered at the Catfish Cabin in Monroe for an engaging dinner and meeting session. The meeting featured insightful presentations from Chief Bryan Adams, LA State Fire Marshal, and Captain Craig Honeycutt from the Monroe Police Department, who offered vital perspectives on local law enforcement collaboration. Industry innovators, including Alarm Monitoring Service and United Central Control, showcased the latest in safety technology at vendor tables.

On Tuesday, February 18, 2025, the meeting moved to Top Axe in Alexandria for a combined dinner, meeting, and social event. LLSSA President Ron Foreman and Region III VP David Allen led the session, with Chief Bryan Adams returning to share his expertise. Capt. Kenneth Rachal of the Alexandria Police Department also contributed valuable insights into community safety.

The Baton Rouge event on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, took on a full-day format at Jones Creek Regional Library. Combining a CEU Day with lunch and an informative meeting, the session was led by LLSSA Region VP Monica Wolf and Social Committee Chairperson Michelle Marsh. Chief Bryan Adams addressed numerous questions, providing deep insights for attendees. Continuing education credits were offered in partnership with organizations such as the Baton Rouge Police Department, East Baton Rouge EMS, Tough Dog Security, DSC, and The Fence Workers Association. Vendor tables featuring Alarm Monitoring Service, United Central Control, and Wesco added further value to the day.

Concluding the week on Thursday, February 20, 2025, the Kenner meeting at Brick Oven delivered an excellent mix of dinner, networking, and informative sessions. Mandi Ward, LLSSA Region VP, along with Committee Chairpersons, led discussions enriched by appearances from Chief Bryan Adams and Chief Keith Conley of the Kenner Police Department. Vendor displays by Alarm Monitoring Service, LRG, United Central Control, and Wesco ensured that attendees departed with a wealth of information on the latest industry advancements.
