The Fairfield Police Department will begin using a third-party partner, along with an online website for the management of its alarm permitting and billing, beginning on January 10, 2022. Fairfield Police Department has partnered with CentralSquare Corporation to provide the services and website. The program utilized on the website is called CryWolf. We will join numerous agencies in our county and state using this same partner and service.

The Fairfield Police Department will continue to respond to calls for service regarding alarms; however, all alarm related services including alarm permit registrations, renewals, and payments can be accomplished online or by mail through CentralSquare Corporation. CentralSquare Corporation will provide false alarm notifications, billing, and collection services. Central Square Corporation provides customer service support at 1-833-981-4010 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. The Fairfield Police Department will also continue to assist residents, as needed, in person, by phone (707)428-7014 or by email to fpdalarms@fairfield.ca.gov.

The City of Fairfield ordinance requires that any individual or business who operates an alarm system obtain an alarm permit. A copy of the Fairfield City Ordinance is available on the CryWolf website.

The CryWolf website will be accessible on January 10, 2022. A hyperlink will be available on the Police Department’s website. Current permit holders will be notified of their log in credentials over the next few weeks. If needed sooner, residents can contact the listed customer service number.

If there are any questions, please call 1-833-981-4010 or visit the CryWolf website.
