‘This is a big election for Louisiana’s small business community’
The National Federation of Independent Business today launched a statewide digital ad campaign urging Louisianans to “Geaux Vote” and support the candidates who support small business.
“The NFIB Louisiana PAC is behind this campaign to draw attention to the important role small business plays in the Louisiana economy,” NFIB State Director Dawn McVea said.
“This is a big election for Louisiana’s small business community,” McVea said. “We need to elect the candidates who understand the challenges faced by Main Street and will do everything they can to address tax policy, the state’s insurance crisis, and improving the state’s business climate.”
The digital ads will connect readers to www.NFIB.com/VoteLAPAC, which outlines the issues critical to the state’s small businesses and includes a list of candidates endorsed so far by the NFIB Louisiana PAC, a political action committee comprised solely of NFIB members from throughout the state. NFIB also has asked each of the leading candidates for governor to provide a 2-minute video highlighting why small business owners should vote for them. Those videos can be found on the candidate spotlight section of the NFIB Geaux Vote website.
Election Day is Oct. 14, but early voting began on Saturday, Sept. 30, and ends on Oct. 7.
