Taxpayers in Mississippi have until Nov. 1 to file returns and make payments that were originally due from Aug. 28 to Nov. 1, the IRS said.

Federal tax deadlines were extended for Hurricane Ida victims in Mississippi and parts of New Jersey and New York, the Internal Revenue Service said Sept. 8 and 9.

Taxpayers in Mississippi have until Nov. 1 to file returns and make payments that were originally due from Aug. 28 to Nov. 1, the IRS said.

Additionally, penalties are to be abated on payroll tax deposits due from Aug. 28 to Sept. 13 if they are made by Sept. 13, the IRS said.
