EDITOR’S NOTE: The following is a summary of crime reports taken from the Greeley Police Department’s daily logs. Only a few of the hundreds of reports will be used in this weekly column because of space limitations.

May 18

1 p.m.: A caller in the 1400 block of 13th Avenue reported kids were trying to start a fire at the junior high school.

1:45 p.m.: A woman in the 6500 block of 29th Street requested a refund for a pregnancy test, but the cashier refused.

6 p.m.: A caller in the 3500 block of 10th Street reported she went to a liquor store to buy wine, and the door was unlocked with no employees inside.

7:15 p.m.: A girl in the 500 block of 18th Street called because her dad was threatening to pick her up from her friend’s house.

8 p.m.: A caller in the 3900 block of 12th Street reported a squirrel looked “drunk” because he was acting strange and running around in circles in the driveway.

May 21

12 p.m.: A caller in the 2100 block of 44th Avenue reported he paid $4,000 for gold from an unknown person and it wasn’t actually gold.

2:30 p.m.: A caller in the 1900 block of 61st Avenue reported a property had sprinklers on for three days.

7:45 p.m.: Three 12-year-olds at a restaurant in the 2800 block of 35th Avenue were being aggressive and refusing to leave.

11:45 p.m.: A man in the 2800 block of 28th Street said a woman next door asked him to party with her after he complained that her party was too loud.

May 22

7:45 a.m.: A woman at a liquor store in the 5100 block of 10th Street reported a man threw a $20 bill counter and walked out with a six-pack of beer after she told him she couldn’t sell to him before 8 a.m.

3 p.m.: A caller in the 2800 block of 28th Street reported an elderly man forced her to sign documents without letting her read them first.

8:15 p.m.: A caller in the 3600 block of 29th Street reported three kids were carrying a machete and ax on a Home Depot flatbed in the park.

May 24

6:15 a.m.:  A caller in the 4400 block of CenterPlace Drive reported video footage showed men wearing masks looking in the drive-thru window around the time the main power source in the building turned off.

11:15 a.m.: A caller in Greeley reported her son locked her out of the house and told her to go pawn something to buy cat litter.

1:30 p.m.: A man in the 3800 block of 10th Street reported a coworker threw a knife that bounced and flew by his face.

2:30 p.m.: A caller in the 3700 block of 8th Street reported she took videos of a strange man who kept hiding things under her tree.

8:45 p.m.: A woman in Greeley reported her son was left home alone and was bitten by a raccoon at his father’s house. She also said he got all Fs in school.
