Arkansas’ Division of Workforce Services said it was the third month in a row that more Arkansans were seeking work. 

Arkansas’ unemployment rate rose two-tenths of a percentage point from September to settle at 3.1% in October, according to a report Friday from the state Division of Workforce Services.

The report said Arkansas’ civilian labor force added 803 in October, with employment declining by 1,813 and unemployment rising 2,616. The division said it was the third month in a row that more Arkansans were seeking work.
