Police are warning Carmel residents to keep an eye out for suspicious drone activity as thieves might be using the unmanned crafts to case homes for burglaries.
According to a post by the Carmel Police Department, drones have been linked to recent burglaries in Carmel. The police department asks residents to keep their eyes peeled and report any unusual drones flying in their neighborhood.
“Your awareness can make a big difference in helping us keep our neighborhoods safe,” Carmel PD stated. “If you see something, say something—your tip could help prevent a crime!”
