Travis Kelce installing new alarm system after mansion break-in & still holds out hope cops will find Super Bowl jersey

11.26.24 – The US Sun – EXTRA PROTECTION.

A source close to the Kansas City Chiefs star has told The U.S. Sun he’s still angry following the October 7 robbery

TRAVIS Kelce is ready to ramp up home security following his recent mansion robbery nightmare.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight-end and pal Patrick Mahomes had their luxury pads ransacked within hours of each other last month by what the NFL is describing as a “transnational crime ring.”

The U.S. Sun revealed Kelce lost over $100,000 in jewelry, his first Super Bowl jersey, designer clothes, and $20,000 in cash.

The thieves reportedly spent no more than 15 minutes in his mansion, suggesting a highly targeted operation.

Girlfriend Taylor Swift was left thanking her lucky stars that none of her property was taken.

However, Chiefs star quarterback Mahomes lost many personal items, while his wife Brittany had designer bags and jewelry stolen.

The FBI is investigating the situation, and NBA stars have been warned to be extra vigilant; the burglars pose as delivery workers or joggers to take a good look at their targets.

One of Travis’ luxury watches was found over 1,400 miles away in Providence, Rhode Island.

But a well-placed source has told The U.S. Sun that the 35-year-old is still “very upset” about the break-in and has already planned to beef up the alarm system to prevent problems in the future.

With Taylor’s year-long, blockbuster Eras tour coming to an end at the start of December, Travis expects to spend more time with the Cruel Summer star at his luxurious $6 million pad in the Kansas City suburb of Leawood.

“Travis is going to set a new alarm system not to be a target of a possible burglary as he is doing some work in the house and will have more of Taylor’s stuff in there, too,” the insider confirmed.

Mahomes has described the situation as “frustrating,” and Travis, according to our source, is desperate to reclaim some of the treasured jerseys stolen in the raid.

His cherished first-ever Super Bowl jersey, worn in the win over the San Francisco 49ers in 2020, is still missing, along with other “emotional value” NFL mementos.

“That first Super Bowl shirt is essential from him,” confirmed the source.

“It’s a reminder of one of the biggest achievements in his career and life so far, and he hopes to get it back.”

Other jerseys swapped with NFL rivals over the years, along with $100,000 worth of jewelry, were also snatched from his pad.

Diamonds are forever

Kansas City’s newest Super Bowl rings feature 529 diamonds, 38 rubies and a nod to their game-winning play.

The Chiefs flashed their latest piece of jewelry at a special ceremony on Thursday, June 13.

The new bling features the years of Kansas City’s Super Bowl wins – 1969, 2019, 2022 and 2023.

It also has a handwritten drawing of Andy Reid’s ‘Tom and Jerry’ play which won Super Bowl LVIII at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Kansas City beat the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 in overtime in February.

And the rings feature 22 diamonds to represent the points Kansas City scored in the second half and overtime.

Nineteen diamonds also represent their 11 straight winning seasons and eight AFC West titles in a row.

While there is also commemorative patch for the late Norma Hunt, the matriarch of the family which owns the Chiefs who died last summer.

The U.S. Sun obtained a police report from the Cass County Sheriff’s Office revealing that a deputy responded to Mahomes’ Belton property at 12:08 a.m. and discovered signs of a break-in.

Hours later, at approximately 7 p.m. on October 7, burglars struck Travis Kelce’s estate in Leawood, part of Kansas City’s metropolitan area.

The incident occurred just an hour before the Chiefs faced the New Orleans Saints in a Monday Night Football game at Arrowhead Stadium.

Sources suggest that the burglars specifically targeted the homes of professional athletes, knowing when they would be away.

The NFL, working alongside law enforcement, remains vigilant as investigations progress.

“For the luxury items, he knows that it will be very complicated to find them and have them back,” admitted the source.

“It pisses him off.”
