    12.2.24 – Toronto.com – The area including Mississauga and Brampton has implemented the Next Generation 911 (NG911) program, which actually includes a feature that gives the caller clear instructions to acknowledge if they misdialed 911.

    11.29.24 – (NBC 26) – A Grand Chute family and their pet are safe after their home caught fire early Friday morning. Firefighters say the family was asleep when the fire started, and the smoke detectors alerted them.

    11.26.24 – Bluffton Today – A family whose home caught on fire Nov. 22 was saved due to smoke alarms which alerted the residents about the fire, fire officials said. Burton Fire District officials said smoke alarms alerted the family to a fire in their home, resulting in no injuries and minimal damages.
