What the heck?’ Officer Newsome said when he spotted the suspect.
On Monday morning, a masked bandit was caught red handed breaking into a Crockett home.
According to Crockett Police Department, Officer Newsome with CPD responded to a home regarding a burglary alarm being triggered.
When the officer arrived, he began checking the perimeter of the building for signs of forced entry. In the attached video you can see the friendly encounter between Officer Newsome and the masked bandit. CPD says they are not sure if it was more exciting to see the little furry bandit wave at the officer or to see that Officer Newsome waved back.
