Duplication Is Not Always Beneficial
Sometimes redundancy and duplication has real benefits. For example, backing up your data in several locations can be a real life saver.
Other times it is just a waste of effort. Duplication of the same services by your state and national association is just a waste. That is why NESA has no membership or sales force. The member states handle the recruiting of members. That is why NESA leaves the delivery of training to the states. That is why NESA does not compete with state trade shows.
All of this is a planned effort to control costs and support instead of compete with the state associations. All of this allows your state association to serve you better.
